Great view in this restaurant. Sunsets are magical. Brussel Sprouts were good. The Humus presentation needs help. There’s so many things on the plate with all the different ingredients and colors it could look really amazing. The taste was just average.
Their salads are good and portions huge.
We loved this place so much that we had four dinners during our one week vacation here. Coconut shrimp, fish and chips, kale salad and molten lava cake were delicious. Service was great. Views of mountains and Hanalei bay were spectacular.
Excellent view and service. Food was good and seating available when we walked up. Grounds are amazing. You don’t have to be staying here to enjoy the lounge and view. Parking free!
The atmosphere, drinks, and the appetizers were great! Docked stars mostly because of issues with the entrees and dessert.
TLDR is that I would recommend this spot mostly for drinks and apps!
Positives first, I highly recommend the drinks and especially loved the lava flow. The wings (freshly fried), coconut shrimp, rum coated Brussels, and calamari appetizers were all great! The loco moco entree was also best I had on the island
Next the issues. First, the chicken fingers were not panko encrusted, just a usually breaded despite the what the manager said. It's confusing because the coconut shrimp was panko coated. With the volcano poke, there was a strong bitter taste and they used jasmine rice rather than sushi rice, which made the texture weird. Lastly the volcano cake was not a volcano cake, it was a Bundt cake with chocolate sauce in the center. It was still good, just not what was advertised. Hopefully these issues can be fixed with small tweaks or clarifications on the menu.
The food was really good overall. The kale in the salad was a little bitter. My MIL has dietary restrictions, so I was disappointed. Our waitress did the bare minimum to serve us. It was noisy because of the football games.
Great spot, with a great view! Food is good, we their wings which were fried a little too much in my opinion but good nonetheless. Drinks were on point and the chicken sandwich was delicious.

This resort is so pretty. Go to the large lawn to the side of restaurant for the best view … and play the giant connect four with your friends!
We went on a Sunday night with 8 adults, 3yr old, and 10mnth old. It was about 5:30pm. Was seated within 10 mins maybe less. Great service!!!! Food was out fast, drinks stayed full, they had live music, and a great Hawiian vibe. We had the Meatballs and Brussel sprouts for appetizers, Beer Battered fish tacos and Loco Moco for main both were excellent, and the Chocolate Lava cake for desert which was my favorite. I highly suggest this place.
